Toshiba unveiled 12inch LED backlit tablet pc

Toshiba unveiled its 12.-inch LED-backlit touch screen tablet pc ‘Protégé M700’ in USA market. The LED-backlit display offers 1,280*800 (WXGA) resolutions. The different shades of color combination used in display unit, key pad and rest of the body matches well and give a premium look. Overall design looks good and sturdy. Suggested price starts at 1,699 USD. Core components are:

12.1-inch convertible tablet pc from Dell

Dell unveiled its 12.1-inch convertible tablet pc ‘Latitude XT’ in USA market, which adopts 1,280 x 800 (WXGA) LCD monitor.

Measuring 2.54cm thickness at 1.6kg, it offers 9.5-hour batterty life. It is expected to be available in the end of December, and suggested price starts from 2,499(USD).

Maxian new premium 60GB PMP

Maxian announced the launch of its new premium PMP ‘E900 Blue Black’ in Korea market. The E900 Blue Black is an upgraded version of its previous ‘E900’ series with new blue black color and 60GB memory capacity. The LCD display supports 16M colors, brightness of 350 candela, and 170-degree viewing angle. It also supports H.264 base/main profiles.

NEC Powermate P5010 all-in-one pc

NEC introduced its all-in-one PC ‘Powermate P5010′ featuring a handle. It offers full pc functionality while maintaining slim design. Can prove very practical in some situations but it will look funny. I would better use a laptop bag which can very well carry few CD’s, pen, pencil and scale too. LCD screen is also prone to damage.

i-station U43 multimedia player

Digitalcube is introducing its new multimedia player ‘i-station U43′ with enhanced network capability in Korea market. The i-station U43 offers WLAN connectivity and runs WinCE 5.0 OS. In Korea, users have access to HSDPA network via SKT’s ‘T-Login’ service. It also supports several additional features for education use including dictionary, translation, and subtitle functionalities.

The company said that with enhanced network capability the U43 is expected to be used for stock trading service like the company’s previous model M43

ARIMA upgraded its UMPC

Sony to launch deep red colored PSP

Sony Computer Entertainment expects to launch deep red colored ‘PSP Deep Red Value Pack’ and ‘PSP Deep Red 1 Seg Pack’ in Japanese market.

The PSP Deep Red Value Pack includes a pouch, strap, cleaning cloth and 32MB Memory Stick Duo. The PSP Deep Red 1seg Pack adds a 1seg tuner to all that, and suggested price is around 180,000 KRW and 236,000 KRW respectively.
