BTC (btc.co.kr) launched its 26-inch multimedia LCD monitor (model: Zeus 8000 260MS Delux) in Korea. It features dual tone color with high-gloss finish. Equipped with HDMI port as well as DVI, D-SUB and multi-card reader slot, the Zeus 8000 260MS Delux supports 1,920 x 1,200 resolution, 10,000:1 contrast ratio, 450 cd/m² brightness and 5ms response speed.

Dao Korea launched its new 22-inch wide LCD monitor Matrix neo-220W. Designed with a high-gloss black finish, the Matrix neo-220W supports 1680×1050 resolution, 7,000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response speed. Other features included tilt and swivel function, built-in speakers and 160-degree viewing angle. The base looks small to me and should be a little bigger to prevent monitor from falling.
BenQ announced the launch of its 24mm-thick 24-inch wide monitor ‘V2400W’ in Korea market.
Featuring a touchpad OSD with LED backlit, the V2400W supports 1,920 x 1,200 WUXGA resolution, 4,000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m² brightness and 5ms response speed.
LG Electronics launches its ergonomically designed monitor ‘W52 Series (model: W1952TQ/W2252TQ)’ in Korea market, which features 10,000:1 contrast ratio and 2ms response speed.
From a design with black lacquered finish, the W52 Series supports several functions to make you especially enjoy movies and games.
First of all, Ez-zooming function gives you the ability to change the screen resolution in a single click. The function Photo Effect is an effect based photoshop and provides direct access through a button located directly on the monitor. Finally, the function in Wide 4:3, offers the possibility to read all kinds of files (video games, movies, photos, internet) at 4:3 aspect ratio.
Suggested price is 290,000 KRW for 19-inch model and 390,000 KRW for 22-inch.
Green House (www.green-house.co.jp) expects to launch its 19-inch monitor ‘GH-TIF193SDW’ in Japan market, which features HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection).
Supporting 1,440 x 900 (WXGA+) resolution, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response speed and 400 cd/m2, it is expected to be available in mid February for 31,800 (JPY).
MITSUBISHI launched its 22-inch wide monitor ‘Diamondcrysta WIDE (model: RDT222WM-S)’ in Japan market. Supporting 1,680 x 1,050 (WSXGA+) resolution, 5ms response speed, 1,000:1 contrast ratio and 300 cd/m2, it also equipped with HDMI slot.
Coming with two different colors such as white and black, it is available for 59,800 JPY.
